Released back in 1987 (the song is as old as me...that's kinda cool, but also scary at the same time), Guns N' Roses broke into the music scene from the city of Los Angeles with this lead-off single from their debut album Appetite For Destruction. And with Slash's opening guitar riff, you know that they couldn't be ignored for long. The song peaked at number seven on the Billboard 100 and the rest, as they say, is history.
